BARRANCO + CHORRILLOS

We start our tour in the traditional district of Barranco. In our tour we will appreciate the Central Park, the Bajada de los Baños, the Old Library, the “ranchos” or colonial mansions, the traditional Bridge of Sighs and its famous Boulevard which is the most bohemian expression of the nightlife in Lima. Continuing with our visit to the district of Chorrillos, once the most famous resort in Lima, which now houses the only natural reserve area of ​​the city, the Pantanos de Villa, which we will have the opportunity to observe.

PACHACAMAC

Continuing with our tour we will take the Panamericana Sur highway, Pachacamac is the most important ceremonial center of the coast of Peru in pre-Hispanic times. The inhabitants came here to give offerings to their god “Pachacamac”. Here we can appreciate its various constructions made in mud that date back several centuries. Among the constructions are: Temple of Adobito, Old Temple of Pachacamac, Temple Nuevo or Painted, Pyramids with ramp, Temple of the Sun, among other important constructions. Pachacamac also has a museum of site where the ceramics and fabrics are exhibited, as well as the image of the idol of Pachacamac made in wood that was found during the excavation work in 1938.
