Iquitos + Mohena + Camping 5D/4N

DAY 1: RIO AMAZONAS

Reception at Iquitos airport, transfer and short city tour through the city center (subject to arrival time). Transfer to our private jetty to board the fast boat to the lodge, on the way we will observe floating houses (Nov-Jul), the junction of the rivers Itaya and Amazonas and different settlements settled on the banks of the Amazon River, then hike through the Path of the medicinal plants knowing the cat’s claw, blood of degree, nail huasca, etc. Typical self-service lunch. Time set scene. Night walk where we will observe tarantulas, insects, etc. Free time to relax and enjoy the refreshing pool.

DAY 2: GIANT TREE CEIBA + TRAPICHE ARTESANAL

Canoe ride or morning walk according to the season, watching birds in their habitat. Breakfast. Walk through the jungle knowing the giant trees Ceiba (Lupuna). Typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon, excursion along the Amazon River and visit to Trapiche artisan, demonstration and participation of all in the extraction of sugar cane juice that the inhabitants use to make derivatives such as rum, cane and molasses. Return to the hostel. Pool. Dinner. Night walk in canoe or walk according to the season, listening to the spectacular sounds of the rainforest.

DAY 3: VISIT TO CASERIO RIBEREÑO + CAMPING

Excursion on the Amazon River and visit to the hamlet San Juan, where we will know its small school and the daily chore of its inhabitants, fruit plants and plantations of plantain, cassava etc. Typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon departure to the interior of the forest to take a night of camping, spend the night in Tents. Dinner in the jungle, Night walk.

DAY 4: YAGUA NATIVES + RECREATIONAL FISHING

Morning walk, bird watching. Breakfast in the jungle. Time for a refreshing pool. At the indicated time typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon walk through the jungle until arriving at the native community of the Yaguas, we will know their customs, way of life, participation of all for the use of the blowpipe or pucuna. Return to the lodge by boat, recreational fishing by the river, on the way we can observe the Amazonian Sunset. Time to rest and dinner.

DAY 5: VISIT TO POPULATOR + IQUITOS

Breakfast. Time indicated visit to coastal people who preserve certain animals like anacondas of water and land, lazy bear, turtles, parrots, toucan among others. Return to the lodge, typical self-service lunch. We started heading for the city of Iquitos. Transfer to the hotel or airport.
